13-08-2021 Member of the public informed RBRB of a casualty being pulled from the sea unconscious. RBRB, Lifeguards, Coastguard and ambulance on scene but were unable to revive the casualty.
13-08-2021 Tasked to attend to a casualty in the water following a rudder break capsizing his boat. Launched to scene picking up the casualty who had minor injuries and was recovered to shore with his vessel.
09-08-2021 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to a vessel issuing a pan pan call in the bay. Vessel was advised to stay at anchor and await recovery once we had dealt with the first incident. On our return the boat had been recovered to shore by a private vessel.
09-08-2021 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to reports of two people cut off by the tide. On scene the members of the public were found by Coastguard having climbed up Kettleness.
27-07-2021 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to reports of two people cut off by the tide. On scene the members of the public were not in danger.
08-06-2021 Tasked by Launching Authority to reports of a male injured on rocks on the north side of the bay. On scene the casualty had been assisted to shore and was taken to hospital with a suspected dislocated knee.
16-05-2021 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to reports of a 37 foot yacht caught on an ender and unable to move. RBRB along with assistance from Staithes RNLI helped release the vessel from the ropes to allow it on its onward journey.
11-04-2021 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to reports of two swimmers in difficulty at Runswick Bay RBRB recovered both casualties to shore where Coastguard and Ambulance services delivered aid for hypothermia.
26-10-2020 Tasked by Humber Coastguard to reports of two kayakers in difficulty off Kettleness point. Kayakers located making their way back close to shore with minor injuries.
04-10-2020 Tasked by Humber to stand by to reports of a dog that had gone over the cliff at Runswick Bay. Staithes Coastguard cliff technicians teams successfully recovered the dog with no need to launch.
